The challenge

KITSUNE GUARD launches zipped binders for Pokémon, One Piece and other TCG cards. It is aimed at demanding collectors, in France first, with an English, dollar-priced version for those coming from elsewhere.

The store had to earn trust from the first visit, sell in French and English, in euros and dollars, and prepare the launch: pre-orders opening on a set date, and a lottery to reward the first customers.

What we delivered

A WooCommerce store built with Elementor. The catalogue shows each product with its capacity and options: two binders at €34.99, in black or white, the Toploader Binder 3 × 3 (252 cards) and the TCG Binder 4 × 3 (480 cards), plus 3 × 4 35 pt toploaders, sold in packs of 25 at €4.49.

The site comes in two languages, French by default and English under /en/, with around 360 texts translated by hand. Prices show in euros or dollars, converted daily at the European Central Bank rate and rounded to .99.

A prepared launch

Pre-orders open on their own on the planned date, with a countdown on the home page. A launch lottery gives away 50 TCG boxes among the first 100 orders: each entrant verifies their email address before spinning the wheel.

Fast, well referenced and secure

Cache tuning brought the server response down from 650 ms to 60 ms. Page addresses are in French, each product carries its structured data (pre-order, return policy), and the titles shown by Google come from keyword research, such as “classeur carte pokemon” (Pokémon card binder).

A full security audit was carried out before the launch, with two-factor authentication for administrators and GDPR compliance.
